Straight Hair Goddesses: LA to London

October 7, 2010

Whether it’s long layers, blunt bangs or sleek bobs, smooth and straight tresses are definitely in this season. Here are a few ways to wear this trend, and a few A-list ladies who have mastered them.

Layered with Bangs

Beyonce – Beyonce is a hairstyle chameleon for sure, so she’s been spotted wearing straight ‘dos in lots of different ways. Her shoulder-length look with side-swept bangs is a great update for this fall:

Reese Witherspoon – Reese has worn her blonde locks short and choppy, but this long-layered, straight style really shows off her girly, natural beauty. I love the side-swept bangs, too:

Kim Kardashian – Gorgeous diva Kim Kardashian always goes for high-glamour styles. She looks stunning in this long, straight ‘do with blunt bangs:

Blunt Bobs

Katie Holmes – Katie’s come a long way since Dawson’s Creek. Her 1920s, flapper-style bob is dramatic, mature and classy:

Victoria Beckham – This sophisticated siren rocked straight hair even back in the Spice Girls days. Her new look is chic and modern, but still undoubtedly posh:

Cali Style

Rachel Bilson – Rachel got her start on The O.C. as Summer, a quirky Cali chick with gorgeous brown wavy locks and a raging crush on nerdy Seth Cohen. Today, her straight style is more LA than OC:

Audrina Patridge – Back on the Hills, Audrina’s brunette locks stood out in a sea of Hollywood blondes. Now, they’re her trademark. Her straight hair style looks sleek, shiny and healthy:

Lauren Conrad – LC has risen to style-icon status since Laguna Beach. She’s got all bases covered – gorgeous makeup, cutting-edge fashion sense and, of course, flawless hair. She wears the straight look short, long and accessorized:
